While Tuscany and Piedmont take center stage when it comes to Italian wine regions, there are a number of lesser-known areas that deserve recognition. From Lombardy and Veneto in the North to Emilia-Romagna in central Italy to Puglia and Calabria in the south, the diversity of Italian varietals and wine-making styles are as diverse as the land itself. We will explore these and other lesser-known regions and the food pairings that make Italy one of the finest wine-pairing regions in the world.
