About the Event
Bettina Sichel became the steward of Laurel Glen Vineyard in 2011 and her vision and commitment have produced wines of unparalleled beauty in a very special terroir. With 30 years of experience in the wine business, Bettina is a fifth-generation wine professional with a storied family history. Come meet Bettina, discover the story of Laurel Glen Vineyard, and sample the richness of Sonoma Mountain.
First planted with cabernet vines in 1968 on Sonoma Mountain, Laurel Glen Vineyards discovered a unique cabernet sauvignon clone growing in the vineyard and it is designated and recognized as the "Laurel Glen clone" in the world of viticulture. This exclusive lineage is uniquely suited to the cooler growing conditions of Sonoma Mountain and manifests itself in exceptional fruit quality year after year. The result is a Cabernet Sauvignon with an intensity, complexity, and balanced acidity that is very unusual for California.
It's not Napa...it's more!
