About the Event
Explore wines of quality & purpose through Betz Family Winery from Washington wine-country!
Having nearly three decades at renowned winery Château St. Michelle, Bob Betz and his wife Cathy crushed their first vintage in 1997 creating Betz Family Winery. After receiving his Master of Wine degree, Bob was named Sunset Magazine's Winemaker of the Year in 2007, showcasing Washington & Oregon as a world-class wine region. Although the winery was sold to Steve & Bridgit Griessel in 2011, Bob remains a consulting winemaker along with Louis Skinner continuing to produce wines of distinction & pleasure.
Betz Family Winery believes in uncompromising standards in terms of quality. Utilizing optical sorting, small open-top fermenters, gentle basket pressing, and thorough testing and tasting, Betz puts their wine barrels through the ringer to ensure only the best of the best make the cut.
