About the Event
Chardonnay is a classic for a reason. Chardonnay's popularity grew in Burgundy, France because Emperor Charlemagne's wife, the Queen, was tired of the copious red wine stains in her husband's white beard. As a solution, she demanded they cultivate white grapes on their estate thus Chardonnay became the grape of the day.
