Beaujolais Nouveau is a specific wine style made exclusively of Gamay grapes grown in the Beaujolais wine region of the French Alps in Burgundy. What began as a regional celebration has turned into a phenomenon sweeping through the globe. Known for its refreshing fruit and low tannin composition, this wine is harvested and quickly turned into the jubilant youthful wine that is epitome of the phrase "Carpe Diem".
