About the Event
In 2023 we are exploring the Artistry in Everything at Mutiny Wine Room! Throughout the year we host Artists of all disciplines to speak about their expertise and share their stories with us. Our resident winemaker selects a wine-tasting flight directly inspired by the guest of honor to accompany the experience. Join us for a leisurely afternoon of culture, art, and best of all great wine!
Our July Artist is...abstract painter, Christopher Turner. Featured in many esteemed private collections as well as selected by the curators of both the Museum of Fine Arts Houston and The National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C., Christopher's deep connection with the canvas directly impacts his works. With the belief that the canvas is imbued with its own life force, Christopher uses his history and extensive travels to bond the canvas to the viewer through his masterful use of acrylics.
